Help
If this is your first time using Dabbleboard, we suggest viewing the Tour to kickstart drawing with Dabbleboard. If you already know the basics, see the User Guide, or some Examples of drawings.
If you're having trouble using any of Dabbleboard's features and need support, please contact us.
As seen in the tour, here's the quick-start guide:
- Draw basic shapes: Just draw. Dabbleboard will automatically detect basic shapes like straight & curved lines, rectangles, circles, diamonds, and triangles. Make sure the Freehand button is not selected.
- Draw freehand: Click the Freehand button to draw anything you like. You can still move and resize objects just like any other shapes.
- Enter text: Just click anywhere and start typing.
- Select objects: Click on any object to select it, or to deselect it if it's already selected. To select all objects in a rectangular area, click in any empty space on the canvas to reveal the Select Area button. Click this button to make your selection.
- Modify selection: Use the drop-shaped buttons at the four corners of the selection.
- Top-left: Click and drag to move the selection.
- Top-right: Click to replicate selection, and drag the new objects to their destination.
- Bottom-right: Click and drag to resize the selection.
- Bottom-left: Click to delete the selection.
- Add to library: Click and drag the selection to the library pane on the left.
- Replicate from library: Click and drag the drawing from the libray pane to the drawing canvas.
- Switch drawings: Double-click a drawing in the library pane to make it swap places with the current drawing on the canvas.
- Share: Click the Share+Chat button to open the Share panel. Click Copy to copy the link to your clipboard. You can then paste the link in an email or IM conversation to invite others to access your drawing.
- Make public: Click the Make Public button on the Share Panel. Your drawing can then be viewed and copied by anyone by visiting the Public Library.
- Add from public library: Visit the Public Library, and click the Copy button next to any drawing to add it to your own library.
